Golf le Fleur
Brand IdentityFashion is an ever-changing and creative industry, currently witnessing a fascinating fusion of luxury and streetwear. Inspired by Tyler, The Creator's clothing brand GOLF, I embarked on designing its visual identity with a luxury high fashion perspective.
The process began by analyzing Tyler's existing brand and merging it with elements reminiscent of renowned luxury brands like Dior and Yves Saint Laurent. I also drew inspiration from smaller boutique luxury brands such as Acne Studios and Drole De Monseur. Considering Tyler, The Creator's vibrant personality and hyperactive nature, I envisioned a unique visual identity that would capture his essence.
To establish a distinctive brand language, I opted for a combination of sans serif and serif typefaces. This choice effectively conveys a sense of both the old and the new, visually juxtaposing them while also reflecting the fashion industry's tendency to revive and repurpose styles from the 80s and 90s.
